Neary is for adults. You need to be 18 or older to create an account.

When you go online, Neary shows you people who are also online and within the distance you have chosen. You only see people who are available right now, so there are no stale profiles to scroll past.

No. Neary never shares your precise location, never plots you on a real map, and never gives anyone directions to you. Other people see a rough distance, such as about 500 m away, and nothing more exact than that.

You, and only the people you choose. Every photo has its own control: show it to everyone, keep it for people you have connected with, or hide it completely. You can change your mind at any time, and deleting a photo removes it everywhere.

At any moment, in one tap. Going offline takes you out of discovery straight away. Nobody can see you, ping you, or tell that you were nearby.

Block them or report them from the same screen, and the other person is never told you did. Blocking takes effect immediately and stays until you undo it. Reports go to our team and we act on them.

Harassment, impersonation, sexual solicitation, spam, and sharing someone else's private details. Anything unlawful is prohibited outright. We remove accounts for it, and where the law requires it, we cooperate with the authorities and pursue legal action.

Neary is a premium app with paid features and subscription plans to help you meet verified neighbors safely. Plan details and pricing options will be announced ahead of launch.
